Engineering Fields

Located on Baltimore Avenue between Turner Hall and the North Gate entrance, this renovated facility consists of a competition caliber softball field and multi-use fields that accommodate club sports activities such as softball, ultimate frisbee, intramural sports programming and special events.

Severn Building Fitness Center

Located in the Severn Building (Room 1309). The Fitness Center is available for use by RecWell members and Limited Access members. The Fitness Center offers a variety of selectorized weight equipment, a full line of cardio equipment, free weights, a Smith Machine, foam rollers, and a cable-based multifunction piece. 

Natatorium

Located in the Eppley Recreation Center, the Natatorium serves as one of the premier indoor swimming complexes in the region. The Natatorium is the primary lap swimming venue for UMD students and RecWell members. This facility also has the ability to host large-scale swim meets and dive competitions along with other aquatic activities. 

Pool Schedule 

Regents Drive Studios

Located on the ground floor level of the Regents Drive parking garage, the Regents Drive cycling and multipurpose studios host daily group fitness classes. These studios can be accessed by entering the stairwell door off Stadium Drive and are only open for scheduled classes.

Reserve Space with RecWell

Many RecWell facilities, both indoor and outdoor, are able to be reserved by campus and community groups.

Our facilities have played host to sports tournaments, philanthropy events, student organization programs, community building events, and more. Our reservations team is here to help you through our reservation process to ensure you have a successful event!
